When I was a kid, I had one big question that stayed with me for a long time:

Why does the moon keep following me? 🤣🤣🤣

Every night, it was there, quietly watching me from the sky.

And every time my mama asked me to go to the nearby store, I’d run fast…

 look up, and boom....still there.

 I’d whisper or sometimes shout,

Why are you always following me?!

But deep inside, I felt a little proud.

Like the moon chose me to follow.

 Maybe I was special. 🤣🤣🤣

Or maybe… the moon was just lonely.

When I got home, I’d peek out the window, still there.

I even hid under the table once, just to see if it would leave me alone.
 It didn’t.

For the longest time, I believed the moon was my secret friend.

A quiet one. A little clingy, but kind.

And I even thought… maybe it had powers.

Maybe it could give me something magical.

Now that I’m older, I know the science behind it.

But that memory stayed with me..

Until one day, I heard a church song called Kung Kasama Ka (If I’m With You)...
and suddenly, everything came flooding back.

It made me pause and realize:
Even now, I still have so many unanswered questions in life.

But one thing I believe, one day, I’ll find the answers.

Because the One above will reveal them in His perfect time. 🥰

It’s funny how a simple childhood question
and a quiet moon can live rent-free in my heart...
And how one song can bring me back to that little girl
with a wild imagination, and a heart full of wonder.
Who truly believed the moon just really, really liked her. 💛
